PAPER DOLL CLUB Info
- 1. What is the "PAPER DOLL CLUB"???
- The "PAPER DOLL CLUB" is for people who ENJOY embroidering out VARIOUS types of Paper Doll Designs.
It is set up as a yearly fee membership where you can download 12 months worth of VARIOUS Paper Doll Designs with outfits and extras.
The designs are created for the 4in hoop and will occasionally include mutiple hoopings for the 4in hoop.
These monthly embroidery designs will be turned into monthly Design Sets for Sale.
- 2. Is there a fee to join and are there special renewal prices for members???
- Yes, the cost is $20 for the 1st year.
The yearly renewal price is $12.50 - may increase in the future. The designs created in the PAPER DOLL CLUB will be made into design sets for sale.
This can be a savings of MORE THAN $95 a year when compared to the individual price of the for sale design sets!
- 3. When does the membership start and end and can I join anytime of the year???
- Yes, You may join any time you like.
The start date would be the 1st day of the month you joined.
And the end date would be the last day of the 12th month from when you joined.
FOR EXAMPLE:
If you joined the club on Aug 17, 2010
Then your 1 year membership would BEGIN ON Aug 1, 2010
And END on July 31, 2011
- 4. How long will the monthly club offerings be offered in the club area on the website and in the private yahoo group???
- The club offerings will be removed on the last day of the month.
FOR EXAMPLE:
The monthly club offerings were offered on the 13th of Oct, then I would remove them on the 31st of Oct.
- 5. What happens if I miss the monthly club designs???
- Email me and let me know that you missed downloading them
and
I will add the Design Set made from these monthly designs into your order history, for you to download at your convenience.
There is NO additional charge to add missed club designs added into your ORDER HISTORY page.
- 6. How do I get my club offerings???
- You have 2 ways to download your club offerings, either on the web site or through a private yahoo group.
- 7. How do you notify us that the club offerings are ready for download???
- There are 3 options.
opt 1. Join our private yahoo group where you can download the new club offerings (sometimes extras), post questions, and upload photos. I have to grant you permission to join this group.
opt 2. Join our other yahoo group where you will receive notification ONLY that the club offerings are ready for you to download them from the web site. You can NOT post questions, upload photos, or download files. Anybody can join this group. You don't need permission from me. This one is set so that only I can see your e-mail addresses - security reasons.
opt 3. Check back on the web site on the 15th and 25th day of the month to see if anything new has been added.
- 8. Which way is the best for getting my club offerings???
- I personally think the best way is to join the private yahoo group (opt 1 from above).
- 9. Is there a difference between what is put up on the web site and in the private yahoo group???
- Both the web site and private yahoo group download page contain the same exact designs and pdf's for formats DST, JEF, HUS, PES, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX.
The ONLY differences are that on the website there is 1 zipped file to download, usually around 2MB to 3MB+. This is great for people with high speed internet.
And in the Yahoo Group the monthly offerings are divided into smaller multiple zipped files around 250kb to 1200kb and INCLUDES the following format: PCS. This is easier for the dial up people.
- 10. What formats do you offer them on the website???
- DST, JEF, HUS, PES, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX. I have only personally tested the HUS and PES designs on my Viking Rose and/or ULT2002D. You may download them in more than one format.
Please remember that if you wish to convert to another format - use the PES format.
- 11. What formats do you offer them on the private yahoo group???
- DST, JEF, HUS, PCS, PES, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX. I have only personally tested the HUS and PES designs on my Viking Rose and/or ULT2002D. You may download them in more than one format.

- Various Paper dolls, Paper Doll Carriers and Paper Doll Games.
Type of Paper Dolls offered will be Babies, Toddlers, Teenagers, Adults, and various Animals!
And include different time period clothing with extra designs to complement the paper dolls.
- 14. What is offered in the club for this month???

Aug 2010 - EMMA Paper Doll created for the 5x7in and 4in hoop.
These designs have been MANUALLY DIGITIZED, scanned and are shown as actual stitch outs below.
Emma is a SPECAIL Paper doll
Her clothes are kept on by brads/paper fasteners!!!
Then have FUN decorating the brads/paper fasteners with roses, stickers, buttons, ect...
Or purchase decorated brads.
The picture below shows the set embroidered out using the 4in hoop.

The following are paper dolls I plan on doing - not set in stone.
For Oct - might do another Baby with a ponytail on top of the head similar to the Baby Michelle Paper Doll.
The Sep paper doll would be able to wear the Oct paper dolls outfits/extras.
OR I might switch the Nov with the Oct club offerings below
Oct 2010 - Maybe House Carrying Case with paperdolls including furniture.
Nov 2010 - Mr and Mrs Santa Clause or maybe Christmas Elves instead
Dec 2010 - Animal Paper Dolls - non-realisitic - maybe Teddy Bears or Horses

- 16. Will I be notified when my membership is ready for renewing???
- Yes, when your membership is close to renewing - I will send out only one renewal notification about 7 - 20 days before your membership is over.
- 17. What happens if I miss my renewal notification???
- Email me and let me know that you want to renew. I will send you a Paypal invoice for the renewal price.
The renewal price offer is good up to 30days after your subscription has ended.
